Research has shown that just two hours a week spent in outdoor or green spaces can help lower stress and decrease blood pressure among other health benefits. Or if you’re keeping track of your daily steps, 10,000 steps a day has proven to strengthen your heart, help you store less body fat, stabilize your blood sugar and improve your brain’s performance while reinforcing ongoing healthy habits. With parks, trails and beautiful natural landscapes close to all our new home communities, we make it easy to get nature time in each week, giving our Landsea Homes residents everything they need for happier, healthier living.

ARIZONA

All of our Arizona communities embody the beauty of the desert, and the awe-inspiring vistas encourage you to get outdoors and experience the terrain. Our Verrado communities in Buckeye are nestled into the foothills of the White Tank Mountains, where you can explore the nearby hiking trails at White Tank Mountain Regional Park on foot, bike or even horseback. You’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the mountains and the valley below. Or get an invigorating workout by running up the Verrado Stairs, an exciting new fitness addition to the community that’s quickly becoming a favorite of many of the locals. Made of railroad ties, the stairs lead you to the top of a hill, where you can then hike two loop trails and enjoy views of the community and mountains beyond.

When you live at Centerra in Goodyear, you’re just minutes away from Estrella Mountain Regional Park. With over 33 miles of trails suitable for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding plus a 65-acre grassy picnic area, there’s something for everyone. Closer to Phoenix, you can indulge your competitive side with a hike up Camelback Mountain. You can even post your hike time on this website to try to get on the leaderboard! Whatever nature experience you’re in the mood for, you’re sure to find it nearby when you live at a Landsea Homes community in Arizona.
