A Year of Philanthropy for Landsea AZ
For our Arizona division, 2023 was a year of philanthropy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to fundraising efforts and volunteer our time to uplift the local community. Check out some of the ways we paid it forward this past year.
We sponsored and participated in HomeAid Phoenix’s third-annual Trap Shoot, raising nearly $200,000 as an industry for those impacted by homelessness. Nothing like some friendly competition in the spirit of giving!
Two teams from our Arizona division packed a total of 275 meals for Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of meals to those in need in developing nations.
We joined other homebuilders in kicking off HomeAid Phoenix’s annual Seats & Feet collection drive. Our team donated 1,553 items and $3,500 to five local non-profits—culminating in an industry total of 8,400 items and $11,160.
Our investment in future generations starts with United Way NCA’s Back to School Drive—where a team of 14 volunteers from our Arizona division helped collect school supplies and stock nearly 6,000 backpacks for students attending Title 1 schools.
Along with 32 homebuilders, 20 of our Arizona team members helped paint two dozen housing units for House of Refuge, a non-profit dedicated to providing transitional housing and supportive services for those experiencing homelessness.
Landsea Homes sponsored the Big Dig, an interactive experience at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where patients and their families visited a construction site to learn more about construction and safety. Alongside other builders, Landsea Homes raised over $848,000 for pediatric cancer research—smashing last year’s total of $750,000!
The results speak for themselves! Our Arizona division knocked it out of the park in 2023, donating their time and efforts to charitable causes across the region—helping countless people live in their element.
