What is covered in my builder’s one-year warranty?

For a period of one-year from your close of escrow, you are covered by our warranty covering the fit and finish components of your home, such as cabinets, mirrors, flooring, interior and exterior walls, countertops, trim and paint. In addition, your warranty covers manufactured products, such as appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, etc.

What is excluded from my builder’s home warranty?

After the close of escrow, scratches, damages, and wear and tear are your responsibility.

How do I submit a warranty service request?

Please submit your warranty service requests through our dwellingLive website link https://login.dwellinglive.com using the login credentials provided in your welcome email on the close of escrow date. For any questions regarding this process, please contact your Customer Care Representative or our Customer Care Department.

What is the difference between a builder’s home warranty and a manufacturer’s warranty?

A builder’s home warranty is for one year and covers material and labor for warrantable repairs. Manufacturer’s warranties vary in coverage depending on the manufacturer. After the one-year warranty, most warranty plans cover the product but exclude labor costs. Please visit https://login.dwellinglive.com or contact the manufacturer directly for specific information. Landsea Homes does not regulate their warranties or service claims.

Is my warranty plan transferrable?

Your home warranty is transferrable, i.e., the home warranty stays with the home. The new homeowner may contact our Customer Care Department for details on registering as the homeowner of the property.
