HR Operations Coordinator

Position Summary:

Landsea Homes is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual interested in a multifaceted position as HR Operations Coordinator. This position reports to the VP of HR – Homebuilding Operations and will assist with various projects and initiatives to support both current and future business needs in the staffing, employee engagement, retention, and development space.


  • Perform advanced, diversified, and confidential HR administrative duties, leveraging knowledge of company policies and practices.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition with coordinating pre-employment screenings, new hire orientation, and onboarding procedures.
  • Champion the candidate, new hire, and employee experience in alignment with the company culture and brand.
  • Help to manage company recruiting platforms, including ClearCompany ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and Glassdoor.
  • Facilitate meeting preparations and logistics, take meeting notes, record action items, and distribute to meeting participants.
  • Handle office management-related tasks which include invoice processing, mail management, supply ordering, maintaining office and kitchen stock, access control and building work orders.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, recruiting and networking events.
  • Arrange travel and meeting accommodations for senior leadership as needed.


  • Minimum high school diploma, or GED required, bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 2 to 3 years of clerical and administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and ethical business practices when handling confidential information.
  • Desire to increase job knowledge, foster effective collaboration and teamwork, and assist others as needed.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external business partners.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary position. May be required to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. This position requires public contact, as such, appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional travel may be required. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance is required at all times.
