A luxury homebuilder is approaching a milestone at its first New Jersey project, having sold nearly 90 percent of its new 183-unit condominium property in Weehawken.

The publicly traded developer, Landsea Homes Corp., touted the momentum at its Avora project after a recent flurry of activity. The company has signed more than 10 contracts in the past eight weeks, drawing buyers with the building’s waterfront location and a long list of amenities.

We are very pleased with the sales velocity since the beginning of the year and expect it will remain strong throughout the spring.”

The complex, which welcomed its first buyers in spring 2018, has a mix of one- to three-bedroom homes with high ceilings, outdoor terraces and a host of upscale features. Amenities at the property include a lounge, a children’s playroom, a private screening room, a virtual golf and game room and a fitness center, among many others.
