PIERCE BOSTON BREAKS GROUND IN THE FENWAY

Mayor Walsh, Samuels & Associates and partners celebrate first milestone for The Fenway’s striking gateway property

(Boston, MA) Mayor Martin Walsh and Boston City Councilor Josh Zakim joined developer Samuels & Associates, in partnership with Landsea and in association with Weiner Ventures, to celebrate the groundbreaking of Pierce Boston this morning. Pierce will be a striking 30-story tower at the corner of Boylston Street and Brookline Avenue, reshaping the Boston skyline from the west with its dramatic profile.

The tower design is bold and contemporary, drawing the eye upward with its glass-wrapped exterior, slender profile and triangular site that is visually striking from all angles. Designed by world-renowned architects Arquitectonica as their first Boston property, Pierce Boston will include 109 condominium units, 240 rental units and more than 20,000 square feet of street-level retail and restaurant space. On-site amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant, 24/7 concierge service and 80 adjacent parking spaces.

Situated in the heart of the city, Pierce Boston is a fresh addition to Boston’s most vibrant and flourishing neighborhood, The Fenway. It is the only building of its kind in the area, and will significantly raise the profile of the neighborhood and add a contemporary sophistication to Boston’s skyline.
